Susan is instrumental in managing the functional areas of benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy creation and implementation, recruitment/employment, diversity inclusion, affirmative action and employment law compliance at Coastal.
With a background of 25+ years of combined experience in Executive Administration and Human Resource Management, she has worked in a breadth of industries crafting HR solutions that drive productivity and company culture while motivating others to excellence by creating a collaborative work environment. She has recently been commissioned by the state of California as a notary public serving the state and specifically the county of Santa Barbara.
A central coast native, she is very active in her community through volunteer coordination efforts with the local chapters of Pacific Pride Foundation. She is also the Volunteer Coordination Co-Chair of Taste of the Town, an annual Santa Barbara fundraising event that supports the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to improve lives and conquer arthritis.
